Biography:
2013: GP/GS – 6/6…Cave re-joins Spokane for his second season in the AFL. Last season as a rookie, Cave played a strong role in the offensive line with the versatility to step into any three of the front positions (G, TE, C).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Cave returns to Spokane for the 2013 season after spending time with the UFL's Virginia Destroyers during their Fall 2012 campaign. Cave first joined the Shock for his rookie AFL season in 2012 and played at center, guard, and the tackle position through out the season. He played in 14 games, with Chris Pino out of the lineup at the tight end position, Cave recorded 3 receptions at the end of the season. Two of those three receptions were for touchdowns.
COLLEGE: Cave attended Hampton University where he started all 11 games as a junior for the Pirates. During his sophomore season in 2007, Ryan played in five of eleven games. As a freshman for Hampton in 2006, he appeared in all 12 games and started the final three games of the season at right guard.
PERSONAL: A graduate of Beaufort High School in South Carolina, Cave lettered in football, basketball, track and golf during his prep career and helped the Eagles to consecutive regional championships in his final two seasons en route to a 22-5 record. In his senior season Cave was named all-state, all-region, all-area, and all-Lowcountry, including an astounding 30 pancake blocks. As a junior, Cave registered 33 pancake blocks and earned all-state, all-area, and all-Lowcountry honors. |
