04/26/2007 1:35 PM - The Spokane Shock is proud to announce the qualifiers from the 1st round of the Dishman Dodge Football Toss promotion.
Participants who successfully toss their mini-footballs into the bed of the Dishman Dodge "Shock Truck" during halftime of Shock home games qualify for a chance to be chosen to participate in the final competition to win the truck. The following individuals qualified during last Saturday's game (multiple successful entries are listed in parentheses):
Tammy Rehms Jeremy Steen (2) MJ Bolt (2) Chet Schilling Andra Love Molly DeBolt Rob Bamstad Mimi Fisher (3) Andy Lowry Gene Bolt Gordon Rathbone Tyson Sicilia (2) Bret Flinn Mike Soebbing Jeremy Callihan Linda Zimmerte Stacy Ruegsegger Jason Gore Lynn Paurus (2) Adam Macomber Ron Joslin Dave Aldrish Steve Hanning Matt Newman John Bailey Randy Fitterer Dave Willis George Pitts Ben Toombs Todd Whipple Kevin Doege Scott Schulte Benen Jorden Chace Epler Jeff Hildebrand (3) Cameron Chase Donald Brown Dan Bruce Britney Bebout Carmen Bebout Cherie Stumm Gary Brown Nick Harlander
The qualification process will continue during halftime of each Shock home game this season. Every person who successfully lands a ball in the truck’s bed will be entered into a drawing for a chance to compete in a super promotion during the final home game of the season against Tri-Cities on July 14. Thanks to Dishman Dodge, one lucky fan could drive away from that game in the beautiful Spokane Shock Dodge Ram pickup.
To participate, fans can purchase miniature footballs from the Wachovia Dealer Services table on the concourse outside Section 120 before each game and during the first half. Each ball costs only $5, with 100% of the proceeds going to support the Northwest Autism Center. Fans can purchase as many balls as they wish.
At the beginning of halftime, the Dishman Dodge Ram will drive onto the field and the PA announcer will direct fans to toss their balls from their seats towards the truck. The balls that land in the back will qualify for a chance to compete in the final promotion. One “instant winner” will be selected each week and will receive an instant prize—such as autographed game balls, jerseys, etc.—on the spot.
Last week's instant winner was John Bailey, who walked away from the game with an authentic game ball autographed by fan favorite Rob Keefe.
